The Round Rock Summer Arts Fest is a new signature downtown arts festival located in the heart of Downtown Round Rock. Round Rock Summer Arts Fest is hosted by City of Round Rock Arts and Culture and is a showcase for a large variety of fine art, fine crafts, and other exhibitors and provides patrons with the opportunity to meet and talk with the artists who create the work. It also includes artist demos and interactive arts experiences for all ages!
The Round Rock Summer Arts Fest will be held:
  • Friday, August 7, 2026: Noon – 9 p.m.
  • Saturday, August 8, 2026: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Sunday, August 9, 2026: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Texas Society of Sculptors will be presenting an independent Sculpture Village at the festival. The Sculpture Village will have a Live Studio for members to interact with the Round Rock Arts Fest attendees and visit with each other and share ideas while working on new or existing projects, an area for members to Demonstrate their sculptural practice, and a Sculpture Gallery for members to show and sell their work.
The primary focus of the Sculpture Village will be demonstrations of sculptural practices, tools and knowledge of multiple sculpture types and mediums for the attendees of the festival. TSOS will pay a stipend of $100 for each demonstration.  Demonstrations shall be for a minimum of 20 min up to 45 minutes with a requirement to work in the Live Studio for at least 1 hour after the demonstration, to answer questions and interact with the public. Artists can sign up for multiple demonstrations and will be given a stipend for each. Demonstrations will begin an hour after the show opens and end an hour before closing.
The sculpture gallery is a 10′ x 20′ tent with tables for the display and sale of jury selected members’ sculptures. Sculptures need to sit on stands (artist provided) or on the tables since pedestals can be precarious.  Priority for display will be given to those who volunteer to help with the event, demonstrators, and those who participate in the live studio. Since there will be limited space in the gallery, it’s a good idea to sign up to volunteer or do a demo!
There is no fee for entry. Participation will be limited to current members of TSOS as of the time of their submission. When you apply to the call please indicate if you would like to do a demonstration or volunteer. Then, please send an email to Melissa.symmonds@gmail.com with a description of the demonstration you would like to do and your availability or when you could volunteer. You can renew or sign up for a membership at TSOS.org.
The deadline for submission is July 20th, 2026 through CaFÉ at https://opportunities. wearecreativewest.org/ opportunity/17841/CAFE
