About Caroline Walker

Caroline Walker is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work finds the meeting point between traditional materials and new technology. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, then enjoyed a successful career as an interactive designer and art director in New York.

Since 2015, Walker’s focus has been on creating work that reaches the viewer on a visceral level through the addition of interactive technology to her sculptural work, as well as otherworldly paintings. In 2019, her work earned a 1st place award in the three-dimensional category at Georgetown Art Center. In the same year, Walker received a Bronze Award from Bastrop Art in Public Places for one of her augmented reality sculptures.

Ms. Walker continues to innovate and push the boundaries of reality and perception. Her work can be found in numerous collections in Texas, New York and India. Originally from the mid-west, she currently lives and works in Austin, Texas.
