About Marian H. Williams

My love of Ceramic Arts began when I took a Ceramics Class at Baylor University.  I have continuously been working in and studying the Art of Ceramics.  As many of us do, I worked professionally in the field of Education to achieve gainful employment.  However, my love for ceramics was always part of my life.  I worked in functional ceramics for many years, but while living in Australia (15 years), I learned to sculpt and fell in love!

The firing process of my work is instrumental to the final look of the sculpture.  Many of my sculptures are fired in the Raku method, while others are fired in a glaze kiln.  The firing process is one of my other passions!

We have recently moved back to our homeland, Texas and I have a studio near Burnet, Texas.  My work is currently being represented by Marta Stafford Fine Art Gallery in Marble Falls, Texas.
