Sculptfest 2010 will be held September 19th, from 10AM until 4PM at the Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum, 605 Robert E. Lee Boulevard, Austin, Texas. The Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum features the bronze and stone work of the late Charles Umlauf. The grounds are beautiful and the sculpture is intriguing. This charming juried festival - featuring 175 fine artists - offers patrons 2 full days of art. Along with the wonderful art in the festival, are a children's art area, and a performing arts stage featuring local cultural and diverse entertainment. There is ample free parking and the central setting of this venue makes it easy for artists to show and sell.

The Leon County Art Trails in Jewett, Texas

Application Deadline: July 25, 2010
Jury fee $30 and (3) 3x5 or larger pictures must be included.
Acceptance notification will be made by August 1st.
Exhibit dates: Aug. 1, 2010 to Aug. 1 2011
The Jewett Economic Development Corporation (JEDC) is having their First Annual Art Exhibit in Jewett, Texas. Jewett, located in Leon County between Houston and Dallas at the crossroads of Hwy 39 & Hwy 79, is interested in displaying 12 outdoor sculptures at least three feet tall (3') for one (1) year, to help promote the City of Jewett and give artists an opportunity to display their work. Applications are now being taken from TSA, TSOS and other artists. Upon placement, a $300 stipend will be given to each of the 12 selected artists. Cattle Country has donated $300 for a "Best of Show" award, to be chosen by vote in the City of Jewett. Download application from www.jewettedc.com.
