Artist's Statement

I believe that there is a natural creative force behind my work. Life has decided what the components of each piece will look like; fate has brought their components to me, and an impulse I feel tells me if I am moving in the right direction as I assemble them. Nature chooses what they will look like and it is my job to solve the puzzle, to turn a pile of bones into a work of art. When I do this well, that natural force emanates from them so when people see them they can feel the life behind them. I will be a medium for that Life for as long as this art desires creation.

Artist's Bio

In my mere twenty-one years on this earth I'm afraid I don't have much of a bio. I have spent all but ten days of my life inside Texas borders. I was born and raised in a small town. Being from a small town I spent a lot of time wandering through wilderness and playing in the creek. I think my families little bit of lingering Mescalero blood kept me at least partially in tune with nature. That coupled with my childhood is probably the biggest reason I found the particular medium I did.
