Artist's Statement

I am figurative Sculptor who feels that the anatomy should be correct as possible. How the bones and muscle tissues infused together is fascinating and the understanding of the skin draped over the skeleton is interesting. I love how it all works together. The first adjective most individuals used when viewing my work is beautiful. I consider it the highest compliment and it's what I strive to achieve in my works.

Artist's Biography

A Dallasite (born and raised in Dallas, TX) attended parochial schools until college. After viewing a Henry Moore Bronze Sculpture as a child, Eva wanted to become a sculptor. Mr. Moore's abstract figurative works led her to the study of Anatomy. She received a BFA in Sculpture and an Art Teacher Certification from the University of North Texas. Eva studied bas-reliefs in Loveland, Co with Eugene Daub and worked as an apprentice with sculptor David Newton for several years.
